Aisha Foundation always strives for its ambitious vision to see a country where no one is blind from affordable causes and where visually impaired women participate equally in society.
Since 2011, more than 90% of our students have passed their exams and graduated from universities and different private colleges and employed with government institutions. 15 students graduated from different government and private institutions the same year.
In 2016 Aisha Foundation covered operation expenses for 4 beneficiaries with the support and sponsorship of our partners, WGGA eye clinic and mekenisa eye clinic.

PARTNERSHIP WITH PRO-DEVELOPMENT NETWORK (PDN)

Aisha Foundation have been a member of PDN a network that mobilizes 39 charitable organizations under one umbrella for over 5 years now.

PARTNERSHIP WITH PLAN INTERNATIONAL

Plan International has been our partner for two years, providing two grants and valuable technical support.

PARTNERSHIP WITH WGGA MEDIA SERVICE

WGGA medical service in Addis Ababa is our partner and with signing of memorandum of understanding, WGGA provided a 30% discount and credit facility to all our small or major eye operations.

In the year 2015, Aisha Foundation has registered around 50 beneficiaries. The number of beneficiaries has been increasing by an average of 10% in the past 5 years. Aisha Foundation serves Addis Ababa citizens and permanent female residents who must be certified blind or with low vision (partial sight) by an eye specialist or ophthalmologist.
